Watch out for indications of mold. If you see any green mold, white fuzzy mold, or darkish black spots (mildew) about the mushroom, never try to eat it. Don’t worry if you see blue staining—That is prevalent in Psilocybe mushrooms and an indicator that the mushrooms have psilocybin.
